Confidence Boosting 101
There are three pillars of confidence: Mental confidence, physical confidence and spiritual confidence. Mental confidence includes perception of yourself, your inner voice and mental toughness. Physical confidence includes health, fitness and beauty. Spiritual confidence includes hope, belief, and your meaning of life. Here are some ways that you can build a more confident version of yourself in all aspects of your life.
1. Nourishing the spirit
You can do this by finding a role model for what you want you actions to be, finding inner peace with your flaws and basic meaning, and learning to go with the flow and be thankful for the flow that has been given to you.
2. Being Happy With Your Physical State
Exercising your body, eating healthy, and making sure that you are taking care of yourself are the building blocks to physical confidence. These will all increase your happiness-triggering hormones, which will make confidence more natural.
3. Setting Goals
Setting goals, following through and accomplishing them shows ourselves that we can persevere, complete and obtain our dreams. This will show us that we can do anything we set our mind to, big or small.
4. Diminishing Judgement
When we teach our minds to judge others, then we are also teaching our minds to be equally as judgemental to ourselves. Our perception of the world and how we react is what teaches ourselves who we are inside. If you stop judging the world around you, your mind will accept yourself as a positive, good person.
5. Increasing Positivity
We cannot be confident if we are not positive in our abilities, our souls or the world around us. By learning to notice our thoughts through meditation and reflection, we can change these thoughts from negative to positive. Do this by noticing negative thoughts, reflecting on them, and finally converting them from focusing on negativity to focusing on positivity.
